Today we are betting at Sale on a soft 7, Rheinberg came over from NZ and won on debut here at Sandown before placing twice again at Sandown, it’s final run last prep 1.6L behind British Columbia and just behind Unusual Culture, great formlines for a todays race at Sale where it’s drawn barrier 1, it never drew a decent barrier last prep and won’t spend a penny the draw today, which is a positive being 1st up with 60kg. Russian Summer was just behind Anyzou Willdo 2 starts ago on a soft 6 at Geelong before breaking through last start. It’s got the fitness edge over the favourite and a better draw and I think the fave Black Zous will be better for the run today. Black Zous has drifted on OP whilst Russian Summer is already $6.50 into $4, hopefully the track is playing fairly by the later races because both ours will be on the rail.
