Schauffele won the 2017 Tour Championship at the same venue, and the 29-year-old has finished in the top-seven in six consecutive Tour Championship appearances. Schauffele is also playing well right now, finishing in the top eight at the BMW Championship last week and gaining shots tee to green in eight of his last nine starts. Schauffele has also generated positive putting stats in all nine of those events, and he has made the cut in 32 straight tournaments, the longest active streak on the PGA Tour. Schauffele is a well-rounded player who has 11 top-10 finishes this season, and he ranks No. 6 on the PGA Tour in strokes gained overall in 2022-23.

Because of the handicap situations the top dogs are short in value, If there’s anyone who i believe can come from off the pace its Rahm and he is only 3 shots back that is not too far behind and still has valuable odds. The Spaniard won the 2023 Masters, as is fourth in the FedEx Cup standings. That means he’ll be starting at -7, just three strokes behind Scheffler. He didn’t have the strongest tournament last week overall , but he ended it with a solid -3 final round.
It’s also not as if the Masters was the Spaniard’s only win this season. Rahm has won four events this year, finished top five eight times and top 10 an incredible 11 times. He also shines brightest when the stage is biggest. To go along with his Masters win, he finished second at The Open Championship and tied-10th at the US Open.
