R1 Caulfield – July 22nd
Wolfy & Orion The Hunter
Notes: Opener for the day here was for the two year olds, both place getters ran very well behind Ouroborous (who I was on the previous start). Race favourite Wolfe drifted in the market and produced the fastest splits of the last 600m, even when held up. Orion The Hunter another who was also caught in traffic. Wolfe could relish softer ground 5-6 range. I would be backing it on anything other than a Heavy track.
R4 Caulfield – July 22nd
Mollynickers
Notes: Probably the most impressive winner of the day for me. Molly cruised home with a bit still in the tank. Seems to be aimed at the Guineas, unsure if she has that type of class however happy to back her in start prior.
R3 Sandown – July 26th
Botany
Notes: Another I was on prior 2 starts to this, running 2nd. Finally eligible for a BM84, will drop weight for next contest. Can handle any track. Look to bet with an apprentice jockey onboard.
R7 Sandown – July 26th
Frigid & Time Quest
Notes: Time quest the clear best runner in this field however it lost under the odds again. Quality horse that just needs a track in his favour. I would watch this one’s price over the next couple of starts, anything around the $3.50-$4.00 mark and would be willing to take him on again. The winner of this race Frigid is also one to follow, 100% Saturday grade and will be winning one soon.

29/7/23 – Randwick R1: Shaken $3.30 – Zac Lloyd down to 54.5kg on this Cumming runner, expecting $2.5/1 race day, with a trim into $2/1 if more scratching.
29/7/23 – Randwick R10: Banana Queen $3.00 – Trialled over 1000m (1.00 flat), fastest if the day. Resuming over 1200m, hard to beat.
