It was a good night for our runners at Launceston on Wednesday night with Miles n Miles showing a great turn of foot coming from last to almost win, finishing 3rd after a slow start whilst Possum Born, full sister to our other unraced horse Possum Magic, was under half a length off winning finishing 4th in a blanket finish. Both horses produced the 2nd fastest final 600/400/200m of their races behind only the winners. Below is an update on Possum Magic who will be off to the trials again on Tuesday as she continues to build toward her race debut! We are still tinkering with gear changes and learning about her as we find what works best for her.
Possum Born will head to a class 2 over 1200m in on Wednesday December 13th at Launceston whilst Miles n Miles we are considering running over the mile at Devonport next week, if not we’ll find either a 1400m or 1600m at Launceston the following week.
